From the 'burbs to Happy Valley, "We are Penn State."

As the Birds prep for another playoff date.

Moonstruck we gather, waiting for snow.

Gazing up at the steps from Rocky below.

When what to our wondering eyes did appear,

But a tarped mystery object and fans in Sly gear.

Driving to "Cenrtal" Philly, lickety-split,

For now, the future's secure for good ol' St. Nick.

Rapid ascent for a guy named Shapiro,

VP shortlist a launchpad for the Dems' next superhero?

Yes, but: Stacy Garrity could have a say,

If she challenges the governor before 2028.

Now pundits delight in the prance to the race,

As Philly inches closer to America's big birthday.

At the Met, Cherelle Parker took the oath,

Philly's first female mayor, the city could boast.

To City Hall, Parker brought will, plans and many directives.
