Salt Lake's streets are chock-a-block with light displays for the holidays. We've found dozens of great spots for eyes all aglow.
Neighborhoods and houses
Last year we compiled a huge map with photos of more than 130 decorated homes:
We'll mark displays confirmed for 2024 in green throughout the month and add new ones to the map as we find them.
- Do you know of any Salt Lake County biggies we missed? Send a photo with the address to [email protected].
For now, here are some of our faves that we know are up and running.

11400 South: A jaw-dropping walk-through of lights and animatronics at the two houses across from Player Road in Sandy.
- Check the spectacle at the north end of Hidden Valley Club Drive while you're in the area.
Miracle Cove is arguably the best Christmas display in Salt Lake County. A whole block goes all out in Magna.
- A few other neighborhoods historically unite in a group display. Check out Glen Arbor Street and Wilson Avenue near 1400 East in Sugar House, Carousel Street in Rose Park and Taylorsville's Night Before Christmas street at 3325 West and Royalwood.
Pioneer Circle: Peek into the Poplar Grove cul de sac for a brilliant display.
- Another fun house is nearby on Gillespie.

3722 W. 3870 South: A West Valley blow mold blowout with tons of lights.
- The homeowner's son does this skiing themed display in South Jordan. It's a family tradition!
- If you continue to Miracle Cove, check out Snow Globe Lane near 3550 S. 5450 West and the Christmas carnival display that starts next week near Kilee Court and Brud Drive.
Frosty's Winter Wonderland: The beacon-like Avenues house is a Salt Lake institution — but the display is likely in its final years, ABC4 reports.
- See it while you can at 805 E. 18th Ave.
Lovers Lane: A glittering, ethereal display is at 13517 S. Lovers Lane in Riverton.

Highland Park: The Sugar House neighborhood is getting brighter each year. Kenwood Street is already lit up, and there typically are big displays on Melbourne and Beverly as the month goes on.
Larson Family Lights and Lights on Arthur: Two of the valley's most entertaining synchronized light displays are in adjacent West Jordan neighborhoods.
- Tune your car radio to the stations posted and watch the lights dance to the music.
- See the show at 2305 W. 7095 South and 2004 Arthur Drive. Lights on Arthur launches Saturday night.
4500 South 1500 East: Just north of Millcreek Baptist Church is a magical landscape of lighted trees.
- Check the nearby display on 4620 South west of Highland.

Triple Crown Christmas: An excellent synchronized light display is at 6189 Triple Crown Lane in Herriman.
- Also check out Glauser Family Lights at 6339 Hawks Bluff Rd.
Lights on Lorreen: The show is flashing away at Wasatch Lights in Murray. Visit the website to control the show from your phone.
- Also see if the Babes are in Toyland on 6200 South near 2300 East.
Oh Inflatables: A horde of inflatables surrounds the house at 3228 W. 10755 South in South Jordan.
Free-to-see community displays

Gallivan Center: Enjoy the lights and take a spin around the ice rink.
Temple Square: The ongoing construction at the Salt Lake Temple means only part of the complex is decorated — but it's still a gorgeous display.
Kearns Community Council: See the adorable, old-school display along the walking path near 4420 W. 5415 South.
Draper City Park: The Tree of Life and surrounding lights make for a popular annual photo op.
Murray City Hall: The annual tree lighting ceremony starts 6pm Saturday, with a toy drive, cocoa and a visit from Santa.
Memorial Mortuaries and Cemeteries: Look for big lighted trees at the cemeteries around the valley.
- Trees are at Holladay Memorial Park, Memorial Mountain View in Cottonwood Heights, Memorial Lake Hills in Sandy, Memorial Redwood in West Jordan and Memorial Lakeview in Bountiful.
- Visit 6-8pm Monday for an open house at the Redwood cemetery. All locations serve cocoa under the lights each Monday night of December.
