Hyatt Regency's cozy yurt dinner is worth the splurge

I visited Mar | Muntanya's new high-end yurt dining experience, Chalet on Six, last weekend, which channels the cozy feel of a winter lodge without leaving downtown Salt Lake City.
State of play: The four-course menu from executive chef Tyson Peterson features lobster bisque, a wild mushroom tart, braised elk in blackberry jus, and Black Forest cake for $75 per person.
- Cocktails or wine pairings are available for an additional $50.
- Set outdoors on the sixth-floor terrace of the Hyatt Regency, the temperature-controlled yurt offers communal seating, giving the evening an intimate feel.
Kim's thought bubble: This was easily one of the most unique and delicious dining experiences I've had in the city.
The bottom line: Don't wait to go. The experience runs Fridays and Saturdays through March 28.
