The Washougal River

Despite being named the best place in the U.S. for nude swimming, Washington's Washougal River isn't officially known for being openly clothing optional, but some still partake.

The vibe: With plenty of parking pull-offs along Washougal River Road's 14 miles of paved road, solo swimmers can surely find a private spot for a skinny dip or naked sunbathe.
