Driving the news: The 2026 calendar celebrates the nation's upcoming 250th birthday bash.
- Gritty is pictured at several iconic spots around the city, including wielding a hammer and tape in front of the Liberty Bell and squaring off in tennis against Flyers forward Tyson Foerster at the Germantown Cricket Club.
Zoom in: Proceeds from calendar sales benefit Flyers Charities, which supports the growth of hockey, environmental sustainability, and local families affected by cancer.
What they're saying: "Hamilton the musical claims that New York is the greatest city in the world. I object," Gritty said in a news release. "Philadelphia is the birthplace of America and of yours truly."
