The NFL tapped three New Orleans brands to create exclusive Super Bowl LIX designs for t-shirts, bags and accessories.
Why it matters: The Super Bowl brings with it super cool merch, and it can be fun to scoop up the gear whether you're a fan of the teams or just a fan of New Orleans.
The big picture: All official NFL merch that bears the Super Bowl LIX logo will already rep some New Orleans talent thanks to Queen Tahj of the Golden Eagles, a Black Masking Indian tribe, who designed it. Her style is unique among the New Orleans tradition of beading intricate, feathered suits.
- Plus, the NFL has promised to bring exclusive merch to the Fan Shop that'll be onsite at the Super Bowl Experience attraction inside the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in the days before the game.
Zoom in: The NFL Shop's "Origins" collection taps local talent in Super Bowl host cities to create merch that represents a community tie.
- This year's edition brings in New Orleans brands Jerin "Jerk" Beasley, Statement Goods and Sneaker Politics.
- And yeah, it's all really cool.

Statement Goods, founded by Toni Point and Alysia Fields, has designs for the collection that include wooden pennants, totes, t-shirts, enamel pins and prints.
Jerk Beasley, a New Orleans native, designed a hoodie and T-shirts that feature graffiti-like text and a feathered, Black Masking Indian motif.
And Sneaker Politics, a Lafayette-born brand, has shirts that weave in black-and-white text while nodding to New Orleans' blue and white street tiles.

How to get it: Fans can shop a one-day pop-up Feb. 6 at 266 Decatur St. in the French Quarter.
- The event is free to attend, and there will be music and refreshments, a news release says. But you should register in advance if you're interested in going.
- If you can't make it there in person, the collection will be available online beginning Feb. 6.
Meanwhile, Starter is opening a Super Bowl-week only shop at 333 Canal St. with game-exclusive merch. Go deeper.
- And Abercrombie has a one-day house with exclusive merch, too. Details.
- Plus, we've spotted Super Bowl merch in local sporting goods and grocery stores, too.
