Immerse yourself in a new Chicago exhibit featuring inflatable creations and reignite your imagination.
The big picture: Balloon Museum, EmotionAir | Art You Can Feel opened this week at the The Fields Studios (2828 N. Pulaski), inviting visitors on a sensory journey throughout 20 rooms showcasing work by international artists.
- It's quite tricky to locate the entrance, but walk down the alley next to the parking garage and you'll find it!
Catch up quick: The Balloon museum debuted in 2021 in Rome, and has since transformed into a traveling contemporary art show of four exhibits (Pop Air, Let's Fly, EmotionAir and Euphoria) spotlighting over 80 artists.
- The shows have run in London, Paris, Rome, Barcelona, Atlanta, Miami, San Francisco, New York and Singapore.

What they're saying: "There's a great environment for art in Chicago. I look around (Chicago) everywhere there is different architecture which is the same feeling we have in our exhibition," Andrea Lucentini, general manager of Lux Entertainment and the Balloon Museum told Axios.
- "Room by room you discover a different world. We want people to get close to the art."

The vibe: Playful, interactive and actually really fun! Expect to spend 90 minutes to two hours.

💠My thought bubble: With Chicago's current social climate, I think we could all use some joy and creativity. This is ideal for content creators and enjoyable for children and adults.
If you go: Be sure to snap some memorable pics!
- Runs through April 6, 2026. Tickets start at $28 for children and $37 for adults.
- The exhibit also features a cafe and store where you can buy pastries, beverages and souvenirs like totes and apparel.
