This October weekend in Chicago, sip beer at a museum, go on a sweet Hershey's chocolate adventure, and see Yard Act in concert.
1. 🍻 Chicago Beer Festival
The beer festival at the Field Museum returns this weekend.
What to expect: Sample from over 65 breweries while strolling through selected exhibits at one of the city's most historic museums.
- Soldier Field Parking is available for $40 or save and take public transportation.
💭 Moyo's thought bubble: Think "Night at the Museum," except with booze and friends.
When: Doors open at 7pm for early admission, 8-11pm general admission on Saturday.

2. 🍫 Hershey Super Sweet Adventure
- Calling all chocolate lovers: Doors open for this new interactive adventure tomorrow and will be held at the Water Tower Place. Tickets start at $24

3. 🎶 Yard Act
- Watch the British rock band that rose to fame after their debut EP, "Dark Days." Doors open at 8pm Friday at Wrigleyville's Metro, which our readers voted best local music venue last year. Tickets start at $25
- If you go: This venue is cash only, but ATM machines can be found inside.
4. 🎞️ Chicago's First South Asian Festival Showcase
- Learn about the city's South Asian community through dance, fashion, film and music. The show begins at 10:30am Saturday in the historic Athenaeum Center. Tickets start at $25
5. 🍎 Lincoln Square Apple Fest
- Satisfy your cider and doughnut cravings here. Shop 80+ vendors, and enjoy live music and family-friendly activities 9am-6pm Saturday and Sunday in the Lincoln Square neighborhood. $5 suggested donation.
6. ❤️ St. Jude Dream Chicago
- Enjoy tastings from Chicago restaurants including Modern Relish and Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba! while supporting the research hospital from 5pm-10pm Saturday at Millennium Park. Tickets start at $250
- Chicago native and Food Network's Jeff Mauro will emcee.
