This weekend, grab your best festival fit and head to Lollapalooza, enjoy live jazz in Bronzeville, and experience Black beauty and culture at McCormick Place.
1. 🎟️ Lollapalooza
The music festival train continues this weekend with Lollapalooza in Grant Park.
Driving the news: Megan Thee Stallion replaced Tyler, the Creator as tonight's headliner.
- Other notable performers this weekend include Sexyy Red, Hozier, Melanie Martinez, SZA, The Killers, Stray Kids, Pierce the Veil, Tyla, Future and Metro Boomin, Blink-182, Teezo Touchdown, and Skrillex.
In addition to the main acts on stage, there will be a kid-friendly festival, dozens of food vendors, roller skating and a self-care center.
Cost: Tickets start at $155 and are also available via resale on Ticketmaster.

2. 🎷 Bronzeville Jazz Fest
- Enjoy live music and shop local at this family-friendly festival, noon–8:30pm Saturday. Free
- Where: Martin Luther King Drive from 37th to 39th streets.
3. đź’„ The Black Women's Expo
- The annual women's health and beauty expo is back, 10am–6pm tomorrow through Sunday at McCormick Place. The expo will feature a career fair, nationwide vendors, and special guests including actress and singer Jenifer Lewis. Tickets

4. 🎵 Metro Boomin
- Dance until the sun rises 10pm–4am on Saturday at River North's Tao Asian Bistro & Nightclub as the Grammy-nominated hip-hop producer takes the stage.
- If you go: Limited tickets will be available at the door.
5. 🚲 Edison Park Fest
- Don't miss this annual outdoor family event with live performances, a bike parade and food. $10 donation suggested
- When: 5–10pm tomorrow and noon–10pm Saturday and Sunday.
6. 🧸 CollectedCon
- Discover a toy convention at Navy Pier that offers the opportunity to buy, sell and connect with the designer toy community. Kids 12 and under get in free. Tickets start at $30
