👋 Melissa here. I was strolling along University Way yesterday with no intention of walking over to see the cherry trees on the University of Washington campus.
Yes, but: The few blooms I could glimpse from the Ave were so full and vibrant, they pulled me in — even from a few blocks away.
I ended up spending about a half hour wandering the university's Quad, reveling in this ritual of springtime alongside dozens of others.
The bottom line: We've hit peak bloom, so now's the time to go get your blossom photos to plaster on Instagram.
