Here's how the New York Times spent 36 hours in Park City

The New York Times recently published a packed 36-hour itinerary for Park City, featuring must-see attractions and hidden gems favored by locals.

State of play: The guide named Utah Olympic Park, Deer Valley Resort, Park City Mountain Resort and the geothermal hot spring Homestead Crater in Midway as key stops.

The list also included local favorites like the Park City Film Series, where moviegoers are encouraged to bring their own popcorn to enjoy independent and foreign films at the town library each week from September through June.

What they're saying: "Although this January will be the last year that Park City will host the Sundance Film Festival, a thriving cultural scene offers year-round performances, exhibitions and films," according to the Times.

Kim's thought bubble: I've got to say ... this is a pretty comprehensive list. These are all places I'd take a loved one.

I'd just add homegrown favorites like Pretty Bird or Big Dipper to the restaurant roundup.
