The Duchess of Sussex launched her new "As ever" food line in April — and it entirely sold out within the hour.
The big picture: The surest way for almost any product to fly off shelves is to win the endorsement of a member of the British royal family.
Case in point: A Philadelphia jewelry designer saw orders spike 11,000% after Meghan wore one of her bracelets in public.
Catch up quick: The debut of As ever dovetails with Netflix's new food series, "With Love, Meghan," where the duchess demonstrates what Forbes calls "slow-living rituals" and "intentional cooking."
- She also ran a lifestyle website with shopping recs long before she met Prince Harry.
So now what? As ever's inaugural collection of eight springtime treats is long gone — but you can recreate the royal tea party with locally-made products.
- Here are some Utah dupes to try.
🍞 Raspberry spread: Bear Lake's famous raspberries give Meghan's signature product a run for its money.
- Chad's Raspberry Kitchen in Laketown sells jams, salsas and more.
🌸 Flower sprinkles: Garnish desserts, cocktails or savory dishes with edible flower bits.
- For "Flowerfetti," head to The Simple Nest in West Bountiful.
- Flower Farmacy in Riverton and Nature's Pressed in Orem sell full, edible blooms.
🐝 Wildflower honey: Meghan's oozing chunks of honeycomb may have sold out in less than 5 minutes — but this is the Beehive State.
- Hollow Tree Honey has the comb — plus honeys localized to specific counties, cities and gardens.
- Keeper of the B in SLC has Utah honeycomb in two sizes.
🫖 The tea: Lucky for Utah, all three of Meghan's selections are herbal.
- Herbal hibiscus: Tea Zaanti's Hibiscus Punch adds sweet orange and zesty herbs to the tart flower.
- Herbal peppermint: Tea Grotto sells straight peppermint leaves like Meghan's.
- Herbal lemon ginger: Get a hot cuppa at Ogden's Atlas Tea Company.
🥞 Crepe mix: New Grains in Spanish Fork has a gluten free variety.
- For the wheat-eaters, try American Table's mixes from Meridian, Idaho.
🥮 Shortbread cookie mix: Meghan's comes with those flower sprinkles, which you'll have to add yourself.
- For a wilder, nuttier twist, try this shortbread recipe using Central Milling's einkorn flour from Logan.
- Or try this classic mix from The Milled Olive in Star, Idaho.
