Valentine's Day is right around the corner, and this year it lands on a Friday, meaning there's a good chance reservations will fill up quickly.
Here are the Salt Lake City restaurants to take that special someone in your life:
🦪 For the seafood fans
🐟 Urban Hill, whose chef Nick Zocco was recently nominated for a James Beard Award, is providing a special four-course menu, featuring day boat scallops, black-stripped bass, raspberry macarons and more for $95 a person.
- You can pair your meal with wine for an additional $45.
🦞 Bambara at the Kimpton Hotel Monaco is offering a special four-course menu, with plates like beef tenderloin, mushroom tortellini and lobster au poivre, for $75 per person.
🍣 Chopfuko is featuring a "luxury tasting and special menu."
❤️ For the romantics
🚂 One of the city's newest fine-dining restaurants Rouser at the Asher Adams hotel is serving up dinner for two for $180. It will feature dishes like wild mushroom agnolotti, New York strip and chocolate ash cake.
🍢 The moody Bar Nohm provides some of the best vibes and bites in town, from Japanese and Korean plates to smoky skewers. The establishment's chef David Chon was named a James Beard semifinalist last year.
- Tip: Finish the evening with a nightcap at their sister bar, Water Witch.
🥩 For the meat-forward
🍽️ Copper Canyon Grill House & Tavern at the Radisson is featuring a three-course menu for $69 a person. The menu includes New York strip, lobster mac and cheese and grilled branzino.
For the cool 'n' casual
🥂 The Vault at the Kimpton Hotel Monaco is providing a bottle of sparkling wine or champagne and a dozen oysters for $80.
