Sunroom Coffee moves to Salt Lake Crossing

Sunroom Coffee has a new cozy storefront.

State of play: The Hardware District coffee shop, which has graduated from a mobile trailer and pop-up at Hardware Apartments, has moved to the first floor of the new Salt Lake Crossing apartments (470 W. 200 North, Suite 100).

The business is known for its cold-foam-forward drinks. I'm a fan of their iced matcha lattes.

The vibe: The buzzy coffee shop, with a variety of comfortable seats, was filled with laptop users on a recent Wednesday afternoon.

The intrigue: The store, which opened late-December, has also expanded its hours.

It's open 7am-10pm Sunday-Thursday and 7am-midnight Friday-Saturday, making it one of the latest-closing coffee shops in Salt Lake City.
