Kilby Block Party announces 2025 dates

Kilby Block Party is expected to return to Utah State Fairpark for its sixth year May 15-18, 2025 the indie musical festival recently announced.

The intrigue: The multi-day concert series will also mark the 26th anniversary of Kilby Court, a storied music venue in Salt Lake City.

The big picture: The block party's continuance comes as Salt Lake City's indie music scene grows.

Salt Lake Twilight Concert Series attendance has nearly doubled since it returned to the Gallivan Center in 2018.

Yes, but: Love Letters, a new indie musical festival scheduled for later this month, was canceled for undisclosed reasons.

What we're watching: Festival organizers have not yet announced next year's headliners, but past featured acts have included Vampire Weekend (2024), Phoebe Bridgers (2022) and Steve Lacy (2022).
