Weekend events in and around Salt Lake | Dec. 8-10

It's Krampusnacht this week, so some holiday festivities are taking a turn to the dark in and around Salt Lake.

Krampus Walk

Dress up as a demon and join in a costumed walk from Salt Fire Brewing to Chappell Brewing in South Salt Lake.

Asylum 49 Haunted Hospital is opening for two weekends in December to bring the spirit of Krampus to life.

When: 7-11pm Friday and Saturday, and Dec. 15-16

Where: 140 E. 200 South, Tooele

Tickets: $20-$37, depending on contact level and fast entry

The renowned annual production starts Friday.

When: Dec. 8-27, various performances
