ICYMI last week, Gov. Youngkin made a pitch to incoming staffers for President-elect Donald Trump's administration: Move to Virginia, just across the Potomac from D.C.

Why it matters: The Republican governor seemed to want the blue suburbs of NoVa to welcome MAGA world.

Driving the news: We offer a great quality of life," Youngkin said in a video posted on X, touting "award-winning schools, where parents matter" — a rallying cry from his upset gubernatorial win in 2021. He also cited lower income taxes than D.C. and Maryland.
