For the second time this year, an invasive Chinese mitten crab has been spotted in a western Oregon waterway.
The critters prey on native fish and can also burrow into stream banks, levees and dykes, increasing threats of erosion.
The most recent discovery occurred in the Willamette near the Sellwood Bridge in mid-November, per the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife.
ODFW is asking the public to keep an eye out and grab a pic to report it online if you think you see one.
