The Lake Oswego City Hall was honored by The American Institute of Architects as one of the best-designed justice buildings in the country.
Zoom in: The 70,000-square-foot structure, completed in 2021, was designed by the architecture firm Mackenzie and houses the city's police department, 911 call center, courthouse and other administrative offices.
Judges praised the building for a design that balances security for police with accessibility that promotes "meaningful civic engagement for the public."
