It's finally starting to warm up in Portland, and we're ready to be outside.

Here's our roundup of some of the best bar and restaurant patios across Rose City.

Context: We define patios as outdoor, open-air spaces.

Jaze Village Hut

If you want quaint, coastal vibes, this is the place. Located in Multnomah Village, here you can enjoy fresh-caught seafood bowls and a rotating list of wine and beer without the crowds.

Bar Cala

At this NE Alberta Street patio bar you'll be instantly transported to the likes of Miami — with pastel-pink walls, palm trees and a canopy of fairy lights.

  • Sip on tropical, Latin-inspired cocktails (the pisco sour is a favorite) and groove along with whatever DJ is on set that night.

John's Marketplace

In addition to its huge selection of beer, the John's Marketplace location on Powell Street also boasts a pretty stellar outdoor space (adorned with a fish-themed mural) for those who want to buy a six-pack of brew and enjoy it too.

P's & Q's Market

Perhaps Woodlawn's best kept secret is the expansive outdoor space behind this beloved restaurant known for nutritious bowls and stand-out sandwiches.

  • Red picnic tables dot the sun-filled patio where special events and pop-ups — like the July 4th crawfish boil — routinely fill every seat.

G-Love

Do vegetables taste better when consumed in the open air? G-Love seems to think so.

  • This veggie-forward restaurant's patio takes the European approach to dining — where watching people pass in the ever-chic Slabtown neighborhood is part of the experience.

Victoria Bar

Rain or shine, N Albina's favored "mostly vegan" bar has you covered, literally.

  • Perfect for large groups, Victoria's patio space is also dog-friendly, but ensures there's enough room to safely guard your four-cheese skillet mac from wandering eyes (and wet noses).
