Weekend Guide: Free museum entry, SantaCon and more

🖼️ Portland artists Nathan McKee and Ryan Bubnis join together in a playful, colorful exhibition entitled "In Plain Sight" on two parallel walls at the Chefas Projects through the end of the month. Free.

📽️ Fans of Stanley Kubrick's "The Shining" could get a kick out of a screening of "Room 237," a film deciphering the clues in the cult classic, at 6pm tonight at the Tomorrow Theater. It is followed by a 2011 experimental film, "The Shining Played Forwards and Backwards," (with a live score) at 9pm.

🍷 Walk around with wine à la Rihanna at Downtown Forest Grove Wine Walk on Saturday and find the perfect bottles as gifts or centerpieces for your holiday table. Tickets are $25 and come with a tasting punch card.

🍻 Put on your ugliest holiday sweater and head to St. John's Saturday for the neighborhood's annual pub crawl — perhaps the antithesis of SantaCon, which happens at the same time at McMenamins Blue Moon Tavern.

🎟️ Portland Art Museum is offering free entry to celebrate its 131st birthday Sunday. A series of special exhibitions, including "Africa Fashion" and "Black Artists of Oregon," will also be on view alongside the institution's primary collection.
