Center City's Fall Restaurant Week is off

Driving the news: The CCD moved to nix its two-week-long September Restaurant Week for the foreseeable future after a survey of area restaurants found that the program's winter edition was preferred, Giavana Suraci Pruiti, CCD's senior manager for retail marketing and events, tells Axios.

• Center City's January Restaurant Week will return in 2026 with more than 100 businesses participating — part of an effort to give restaurants a two-week boost during the slowest season of the year.

Meanwhile, the district is also focusing on new programming, like its Open Streets and discounted workweek lunch programs.
