Hunker down. Hurricane bingo is here.

Batten the hatches and hunker down because the 2025 Atlantic hurricane season starts Sunday.
Why it matters: Storms are no joke, but sometimes the only way to cope is with a little humor.
The big picture: We've been through our share of storms here at Axios New Orleans, and we chuckle at the absurdity sometimes — people kayaking through flooded streets, everyone mowing their lawns before a storm and the armchair forecasters making the most of spaghetti models.
- We prepare, we plan and sometimes we poke fun, because that's how we handle hurricane season in south Louisiana.
- We turned all that into the bingo card. Here's hoping this season is a dud and we don't get to play.
How it works: Mark your squares by clicking on them or print the grid out and share among your friends so your whole evacuation crew can play by hand.
- Refresh the page for a new card.
The bottom line: Please stay safe, and in all seriousness, you should get a plan and check your batteries.
