The Perot Museum is kicking off World Cup season with a massive interactive soccer exhibition.

Why it matters: With Dallas set to host World Cup matches this summer, the display highlights soccer's cultural impact while giving families a STEM-focused way to connect with the game.

State of play: Soccer: More Than a Game is a 10,000-square-foot experience that blends the world's most popular sport with science, technology and hands-on challenges.

Visitors can design jerseys and mascots, build Lego stadiums, test their kicking skills in interactive games, and explore the physics, biomechanics and data analytics behind the sport.

If you go: The exhibition runs Saturday through Sept. 7. Tickets are $9 for members and $10–$12 for nonmembers, plus general admission.
