How to get World Cup tickets at AT&T Stadium

• And FIFA's prices are already above what was promised.

The latest: FIFA cut prices yesterday for the most loyal fans after worldwide backlash.

• The $60 tickets will only be available for teams' fans who have attended previous games, per ESPN.

Zoom in: North Texas will be hosting nine matches, and the secondary ticket market is pricey.

• On SeatGeek, the "cheapest" resale ticket starts at $506 for Japan's match against an undecided opponent on June 25.
• Other matches at AT&T Stadium are over $1,000. The semifinal on July 14 starts at $2,705 — and that's for nosebleeds.

How it works: Fans must apply for the drawing through FIFA.com/tickets using a FIFA ID.

• Hopeful attendees can choose which matches they want, the ticket category and the number of tickets per match, subject to household limits.
• In February, successful and partly successful applicants will get an email from FIFA and be automatically charged on the card they authorized.
• Resale/exchange tickets are also found through the site.

Worthy to note: Submitting early doesn't improve your chances, and ticket prices will remain the same throughout this sales phase.
