Dallas' 2026 World Cup schedule is set

Why it matters: Saturday's schedule release triggers a logistical race as millions of fans scramble to book flights, secure match tickets and find accommodations across the U.S., Mexico and Canada.

• AT&T Stadium will host more matches than any other venue. The first is June 14.

The latest: The matchups have been set in five North Texas games.

• AT&T Stadium will also host two matches in the Round of 32 on June 30 and July 3, one match in the Round of 16 on July 6, and a semifinal match on July 14.

Matches at AT&T Stadium

• Netherlands vs. Japan: June 14 at 3pm. Japan pulled off stunners against Germany and Spain in 2022, while the Dutch aim to shed the title of greatest to never win the World Cup.
• England vs. Croatia: June 17 at 3pm. The 2018 semifinal rematch pits the strong English team against a Croatian side that has finished in the top three in the last two World Cups.

• Argentina vs. Austria: June 22 at noon. Argentina and GOAT Lionel Messi are the 2022 World Cup champions.
• Japan vs. Playoff Winner: June 25 at 6pm. Six teams are still vying for spots in the Cup. The matchup will be finalized in March 2026.
• Jordan vs. Argentina: June 27 at 9pm. Jordan has secured its first ever World Cup appearance.

The big picture: Nearly 2 million tickets have already been sold for the tournament.
