Pic du jour: Denton's gourdeous Halloween display

A 1,910-pound pumpkin with Raising Cane's-themed carvings has found its way to downtown Denton from Iowa.

Driving the news: The delightful display highlights Denton's designation as the Halloween Capital of Texas and Cane's co-founder Todd Graves' love of the holiday.

How it happened: Last Halloween, Graves displayed a 2,471-pound pumpkin in Calabasas, Calif. This year, he decided to commission displays in Denton, Los Angeles and New York.

• The Denton pumpkin was grown in Bloomfield, Iowa.
