Intense flavor, warm hospitality and great deals come together at Perilla Korean American Fare's happy hour in Fulton Market.
⏰ The hours: 5-7pm Monday to Friday.
The vibe: Cool and hidden in the back lounge and breezy and bright on the patio.
The bites: Crisp and tangy kimchi arancini ($5), flavorful scallion pajeon pancakes ($8) and tender gochujang riblets ($12).
- Plus traditional veggie or pork dumplings ($6) and abundant bowls of rich jjajangmyeon black bean noodles ($10).
The drinks: A Korean Handshake (Terra beer and a shot of soju, $6), 12-ounce Terra lager ($6), wine ($12) and 12-ounce bottles of soju ($12).
Best bet: The "Chimaek Special" ($21) of fried Harrison chicken, fries and a tall Hopewell Pocha lager.

Sweet surprise: Perilla staff hand out s'mores supplies at the end of each meal, letting diners finish up with toasting marshmallows on the patio.
