Joe Donut dishes fantastic breakfast potatoes

On most days, breakfast potatoes play a background role as a starchy mop for your eggs, but at Joe Donut in Niles, they steal the show.

🥔 The bite: Crunchy, bouncy, tender and crisp nubbins of shredded spud, dunked in batter and double-fried to perfection.

They're served in copious portions with almost all the breakfast plates and skillets.

I got the Mom Jeans ($14) with chicken sausage, avocado and grilled cheese curds, but you can also order them on their own ($5.50) if you have extra room.

Beware: These suckers are addictive, especially to those of us who like to wear mom jeans, too.
