Popping in there was just what this hungry reporter needed!
The bite: Coco Bowl ($9.95) with rice, bell peppers and carrots topped with a coconut curry sauce, fried chickpeas and cilantro aioli all made fresh, hot and customizable.
I needed a little snack for the drive home, so I snagged a jalapeño-and-cheddar cornbread muffin ($2.49) and some mac and cheese ($4.99) for later.

The verdict: The curry had a nice kick of heat but didn't overpower the smooth, not-too-sweet, coconutty flavor. Fried chickpeas could get soggy but these stayed crisp and salty.
The mac and cheese has five cheeses, but smoked Gouda stands out in terms of flavor.
Zoom in: Liz Abunaw launched Forty Acres as a pop-up market in 2018 and opened the full Austin market last September.
It was "an opportunity to increase healthy food equity and access and service customers who had long been ignored," she says on the market's website.
