The bad news: Average babysitting rates rose nearly 5% last year, hitting $26.24 per hour for one child and nearly $30/hour on average for two kids.
The good news (for Chicago): The Babysitter's Club will cost you about $22 and nearly $26 for one and two kids, respectively.
