Daeji Dough's tteokbokki croissant is carbolicious

The bite: Tteokbokki croissant ($7), featuring layers of buttery, seaweed-flecked, laminated pastry topped with chewy, funky, sweet and spicy rice cake nubbins bathed in gochujang.

The verdict: I normally disapprove of carb-on-carb situations, but this delicious union of funk and butter, crispy and chewy, and French and Korean has changed my mind.
