Where to celebrate Thanksgiving in Chicago

Thanksgiving is next Thursday, but if you're opting out of cooking or want to avoid rising grocery costs, these restaurants and bars are offering special menus to celebrate the holiday.
🍳 Brunch
- Stop by for Japanese-inspired bites and a turkey carving station at the West Loop sushi spot.
- Tickets are $90 per person.
- Chef Fabio Viviani whips up an Italian brunch buffet.
- 11am–4pm at Wind Creek in Hazel Crest.
- Tickets are $119 for adults and $49 for children.
- Celebrate Thanksgiving with a luxurious Japanese-inspired brunch, including Japanese cabbage pancakes with baby shrimp and tonkatsu, breakfast bao with egg custard and steak and eggs.
- 7am to 3pm at The St. Regis in Lakeshore East.
- Make reservations.
🥘 Dinner
- Order ahead for a Mediterranean-inspired meal or dine in for their a la carte menu at the River North spot.
- $155 and $175 for a full meal. Pickup preorders on Nov. 26.

- Experience a "Tandoori Thanksgiving" with rich Indian dishes like basmati rice, chickpea curry and makhani gravy.
- Thanksgiving chicken pickup dinner fully cooked ($145), Thanksgiving chicken pick-up dinner to cook at home ($125), just the turkey fully cooked ($95) and just the chicken fully cooked ($80).
- Pickup Wednesday at 3pm at Roop in the West Loop.
- Make a reservation at Bar Goa in River North.
- Dine in for a three-course menu, from barolo braised short ribs to pecan pie.
- Noon–8pm in River North.
- Tickets are $105 per person.
The Abbey Resort on Lake Geneva
- Make it a road trip with the buffet as your destination. Stop by for breakfast, brunch or an early dinner.
- 11am–5pm in in Lake Geneva.
- $79 adults, $29 children (ages 5–12). Call 1-800-709-1323 for reservations.
🍻 Bars and Nightlife
- Bar-hop and vibe with friends throughout the night. There'll also be chances to win prizes!
- 7pm–1am Wednesday in Wrigleyville.
- Tickets start at $15.97.
- From appetizers to the main course, they'll also have a specialty plate for those dining solo!

- Complete your holiday celebration at this neighborhood bar with a drink with friends and family.
- 10pm–4am in Wicker Park.
- Sign up for a "turkey bowling" game night with music and giveaways, just hours before dinner is served.
- 6–11:30pm Wednesday in Wicker Park.
