Chicago, start your engines: RuPaul's Drag Race Experience arrives this fall

Chicago better get ready to werk the runway as "RuPaul's Drag Race" is debuting a new immersive experience in town this November.

Driving the news: "Drag Race: The Experience" will give fans the chance to see "Drag Race" sets, including the Werk Room, the Judges' Panel and the Snatch Game.

The experience will also feature unseen footage from the popular show, as well as interactive challenges and plenty of photo opportunities.

Zoom out: "Drag Race" is an internationally acclaimed reality show hosted by the Emmy-winning drag performer, RuPaul.

What they're saying: "For the first time ever, we're untucking and taking you behind the one-way mirror to show you how the sausage is made," World of Wonder co-founders Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato said in a release.

The intrigue: The franchise has several ties to Chicago, ranging from successful contestants like Shea Couleé to one of the most influential watch parties for the show, hosted by Roscoe's in Northalsted.

State of play: If you can't wait until November, the RuPaul "Werq the World" tour is coming to Rosemont Theater on Sept. 27.

Several of the stars are doing their own shows at other venues this fall, including Metro, House of Blues and Thalia Hall.

What's next: "Drag Race: The Experience" will have a limited run at 2367 W. Logan Boulevard, starting on Nov. 28.
