CardVault by Tom Brady opening Chicago store

The big picture: CardVault bills itself as more than a store — "it's an immersive destination for fans, collectors and investors," according to its website, which sells sports memorabilia and other collectibles.

Flashback: CardVault started in 2020 and Brady purchased 50% stake earlier this year, according to a news release.

• "This isn't just about buying and selling cards; it's about curating history, building community, turning fans into collectors, and giving them access to own great moments in sports," Brady said at the time.
