Eyesore update: Old Green Dolphin's new tenant

A dispensary and doggie socializing lounge are moving into the old Green Dolphin Street space this spring.
Why it matters: Once home to a swanky Lincoln Park club, the building has lain dormant for nearly a decade, drawing vandalism and consternation about why no one was renovating it.
Zoom in: Pup Social, a boutique, spa and off-leash play space for dogs and their humans has moved into the back of the building.
- It's already accepting online applications for membership, which are $99 per month, $899 per year and $1,499 per year for a premium plan.
Meanwhile, the front of the building is slated to host a dispensary that opens this spring.
- Yes, but: It's unclear what company will run the dispensary. In 2023, Block Club reported that California-based Dr. Greenthumb would occupy the space but reps have told Axios conflicting information on this.
