Investigative reporter Chuck Goudie moves to NBC 5 Chicago

Context: Goudie left ABC 7 earlier this year after nearly 45 years at the station. No reason was given for his departure.

Flashback: Goudie started as a general assignment reporter at ABC 7 in 1980. A decade later, he was promoted to chief investigative reporter. Up until a few weeks ago, he led the vaunted "ITeam" at ABC 7.

• In 2018, he was inducted into the Silver Circle of the Chicago/Midwest chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
