This weekend, celebrate Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy, fan out at the Cubs Convention and participate in a look-alike contest for Olympic curler Matt Hamilton.
- Explore, learn and celebrate King's achievements at this family event which will feature arts and crafts, poetry, workshops and a screening of the film "Mighty Times: The Children's March."
- 10am-4pm Monday at the Chicago History Museum.
Cost: Tickets start at $13. Free for Illinois residents.
- Join the Rev. Jesse Jackson for a day of community service including interactive art activities, activations and live music.
- 9am-2pm Saturday at the Rainbow PUSH Coalition National Headquarters in Kenwood.

- Attend this day of live music, a film screening of "King of Kings: Chasing Edward Jones" and hands-on art activities.
