I went to Dicey's for the tavern-style pizza and I'm going back for the giardiniera dip ($10).
The bite: Ample super spicy giardiniera atop a parmesan, cream cheese bed, served with crunchy kettle chips.
The verdict: It's very hard to mess up giard for me, but I didn't know it could improve so much! Despite basking in a sea of oil, the dip doesn't taste greasy and the peppers-to-dip ratio was very good.Ā
If you go: Dicey's is on Chicago Avenue in West Town, where Parson's used to be.
