🧟♀️ The annual Haunted Halsted Halloween Parade returns to Northalsted on Halloween night.
What to expect: A costume contest, appearances by the Lakeside Pride Marching Band, The Windy City Rollers and more performances.
It's free and open to all ages.
The contest has five categories: Character, Creative, Scary, Youth (under 13) and Group and there's$4,000 in cash prizes available so get shopping, sewing, gluing, building or whatever! Register here.
If you go: It's6:30-10pm, starting at the corner of Halsted and Belmont.
Enjoy a musical interpretation of "Don Quixote" and celebrate Día de los Muertos on Sunday with a performance by Lila Downs and The Mexican Folkloric Dance Company of Chicago. Tickets start at $39
