With clear blue skies, perfect views of the skyline and Lake Michigan for miles, Adler Planetarium offered prime views of yesterday's solar eclipse.
The vibe: Excitement and joy to have beautiful weather and experience the astronomical event from a very Chicago location.
School buses brought students, Divvy bikes littered the lawn, and ice cream carts were ringing their bells and selling their goodies, especially before the moon blocked the sun (94% of it anyway) and temps dropped.
