With clear blue skies, perfect views of the skyline and Lake Michigan for miles, Adler Planetarium offered prime views of yesterday's solar eclipse.
The vibe: Excitement and joy to have beautiful weather and experience the astronomical event from a very Chicago location.
- School buses brought students, Divvy bikes littered the lawn, and ice cream carts were ringing their bells and selling their goodies, especially before the moon blocked the sun (94% of it anyway) and temps dropped.
