Move over, Taylor Swift. The Chicago Bears just got their own celebrity super fan.

The big picture: The Bears agreed to terms with Green Bay Packers safety Jonathan Owens, who will come to Chicago to battle for a starting job. His wife, Olympic champion Simone Biles, already appears thrilled about the prospect.

What she's saying: "I'm so excited about not having a connecting flight to go & see my husband hahahahaaha," Biles wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

State of play: The couple lives in Texas. Owens started his NFL career playing for the Houston Texans, while Biles is one of the most celebrated American athletes in gymnastics history.

By the numbers: Biles is tied for the most Olympic medals won by an American gymnast with seven. She plans to compete this summer in Paris.

  • Owens career numbers include 227 tackles, one interception, one forced fumble, eight pass breakups and two sacks.

Flashback: Chicago has seen plenty of celebrity fans over the years. Jay Cutler's ex-wife Kristin Cavallari regularly attended games, and Paris Hilton was spotted in the stands when she briefly dated Brian Urlacher.

The bottom line: Biles got plenty of camera time on the sidelines rooting for her husband in Green Bay. Expect Biles to do the same at Soldier Field.
