This weekend in Chicago, run in your underpants for a cause, learn about the history of local Black artists or party at an international celebration.
💘 1. Cupid's Undie Run
Drop your pants and run through Wrigleyville for a cause during Cupid's Undie Run.
Why it matters: This annual tradition is a fundraiser for neurofibromatosis (NF) research.
- NF is a group of genetic conditions that cause tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body.
Details: The event begins with a mixer with music and drinks, followed by a mile run and dance party.
- The run is not timed and there are no prizes for finishing the race.
Of note: This event is 21+.
When: Saturday. Mixer begins at noon, run begins at 2pm.
Location: Sluggers
Cost: $50 to register; donations are welcome
🎤 2. Desi Banks
- The Instagram star, who recently appeared on Shannon Sharpe's podcast, takes the stage at the Riviera Theatre tomorrow at 8pm. Tickets start at $39
🖤 3. BHM Family Event
- Explore the history of Black art in Chicago with DIY art classes, story time sessions and a scavenger hunt. Included with museum admission
- When: 10am–3pm Saturday

🪅 4. International Carnivale
- Enjoy an afternoon celebration featuring performances, music, dance and food from Brazil, Colombia, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Greece and North America. Free
- When: 1–5pm Saturday
- Location: Aon Grand Ballroom, Navy Pier
🎵 5. Sam Hunt
- The "Body Like a Back Road" singer will perform at Allstate Arena at 7:30pm Saturday with Brett Young and Lily Rose. Tickets start at $40
- Of note: Can't make the show? Hunt will be back in Illinois at the Peoria Civic Center on March 16. Tickets start at $40
🎶 6. Imani Winds
- The Grammy-winning quintet's concert at Nichols Concert Hall will celebrate composers of color including Paquito D'Rivera, Billy Taylor, Damien Geter and Valerie Coleman.
- Cost: Livestream: $15, in-person: $30–$60
- When: 7:30pm Saturday
🏒 7. Blackhawks
- 🏒 Blackhawks: The 'Hawks (15-39-3) will take on the Detroit Red Wings (29-20-6) in the United Center at 5pm Sunday.
- Cost: Ticket prices are by far the highest of the remaining home games, starting at $187.
