What better way to get into the spirit of the holidays than seasonal cocktails, Instagrammable scenes of cheer and Santas galore?
- Here are some pop-up bars to check out in and around Chicago this month:
🎵 Frosty's Christmas Bar: A Santa on the turntables, multiple dance floors and boozy, frosty drinks take over this Goose Island spot. ($24-$69, depending on day and time)
☃️ Jack Frost Holiday Pop-Up: For the non-dancing crowd, the Fulton Market pop-up has ice skating, winter bumper cars, cocktails and mocktails. ($8-$52, with the higher price including a Christmas sweater)
🎅 Santa Baby Pop-up Bar: The over-the-top Christmas bar in Wrigleyville goes all in on themed cocktails, like Jingle Juice, the Clausmo and a giant hot cocoa that serves eight people! ($5 and up for cover, depending on day)
🎬 Home Alone Pop-up Bar at Cortland's Garage: The Arlington Heights bar has the classic film on the TV, a poster of Kevin's plan to take on the crooks, and themed burgers and drinks.
🎳 Tinseltown at Pink Squirrel: Book a booth or a lane at the Logan Square bar and bowling alley that offers gingerbread house kits, holiday cocktails and Polaroids of the night.
🎹 Reindeer Room at Tack Room: The piano bar at Thalia Hall in Pilsen has a Yuletide cabaret, Christmas Eve sing-along and spiked hot cocoa to sip on.
