Portman Holdings' Ten Twenty Spring building is a 530,000-square-foot office tower that's part of the mixed-use development Spring Quarter in Midtown.
An important addition to the Midtown skyline — and possibly one of the last major office projects Atlanta will see built in the coming years — has wrapped up construction.
Why it matters: Portman Holdings' Ten Twenty Spring, a 530,000-square-foot office tower in the company's Spring Quarter development, is now open, the development company announced yesterday.
The building is one of the few office developments that have opened this year in Atlanta, where return-to-office levels have risen but remain below their pre-pandemic levels.
Zoom in: The new office building at 1020 Spring Street has 15,000 square feet of private terraces and another 20,000 square feet of amenities for tenants, including a lounge and an indoor and outdoor bar.
Sozou, a contemporary Japanese culinary concept led by former Umi chef Fuyuhiko Ito, is set to open in the summer of next year.
A second concept, Omakase by Ito, will be on the eighth-floor rooftop and will offer seasonal dishes for exclusive guests.
Zoom out: Spring Quarter also includes a 370-unit residential tower, which Portman says is 95% leased, that's adjacent to the historic H.M. Patterson Home and Gardens.
