Ladybird debuts new "Morningbird" breakfast menu

Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall is introducing a new breakfast service from its walk-up counter facing the Beltline's Eastside Trail.
What's happening: Chef Joe Schafer of Electric Hospitality created these Southern classic options for Ladybird's new Morningbird breakfast menu.
On the menu: Some of what Morningbird will offer for breakfast includes the city ham & chow chow cheddar biscuit, house pork belly bacon and jam biscuit and a honey bun with smoked honey glaze.
What to try: You can wash your breakfast down with green tea hibiscus lemonade, a banana brûlée cold crew and an iced green hibiscus tea.
What to expect: Ladybird patrons can visit for a grab-and-go option or hang out at the restaurant.
Stop by: Morningbird is open Friday through Sunday from 8am to 11am.
- Brunch is Friday through Sunday from 11am to 4pm, with live bluegrass music on Sundays from 1pm to 3pm.
- Lunch and dinner are served everyday from 11am to 4pm and 4pm to 10pm.
