Donald Trump Jr.

Donald Trump Jr.'s new book coming for Christmas

Donald Trump Jr.'s book will be out Nov. 5 — a year before Election Day. We're told topics in "Triggered: How the Left Thrives on Hate and Wants to Silence Us" will include free speech, censorship and Big Tech.

Why it matters: Don Jr., a hunter and fisherman who's a popular talk-radio guest in Trump country, plans to travel the U.S. campaigning for his dad. The book's thrashing of political correctness previews the stump message Trump's eldest son will use to jack up swing-state turnout by the Republican base.

President Trump's plans to stoke conservative grievances about social media are part of a larger strategy to fan the us-vs.-them theme of his 2020 campaign.

The big picture: The issue of tech companies being biased against conservatives is one of the hottest subjects among the Republican Party’s online base, per Axios' Jonathan Swan.
