ππ½ Hello again, Monday! It's Laura and Alexis here to highlight the 57 new businesses that we've reported about this year so far.
Why it matters: The last time we updated our "now open" guide, we reported 26 new restaurants, bars, shops and other businesses that opened at the start of the year.
Last year, the guide totaled 126 by the end of the year, and we're on track to see just as many by the end of 2024.

So far this year, we've told you about 46 new food and beverage options that have opened in Charlotte.
Notably, we're seeing a rise in international cuisines, like the many Asian food stalls at Alley 51 in Pineville and Halal Street Food's highly anticipated new Camp North End location.
Recently, many local favorites have been expanding their foo(d)print β Calle Sol is now in SouthPark, for example, and Olde Mecklenburg Brewery has a new biergarten in Ballantyne.
