Bern's Steak House a top 100 restaurant in U.S., per OpenTable

Tampa's Bern's Steak House is one of the top 100 restaurants in America, according to a new ranking from reservation platform OpenTable.

Why it matters: If you, too, have struggled to snag a reservation at Bern's (before 9pm, at least), this accolade tracks.

OpenTable based their list on diner reviews and the percentage of reservations made in advance, among other metrics.

State of play: The SoHo staple with an iconic dessert room and one of the largest wine collections in the world was one of just three Florida restaurants to make the list.

The other two were Buccan in Palm Beach and Norigami in Winter Garden.

Zoom out: Tampa's Ulele appeared on OpenTable's top 100 brunch restaurants, while Dunedin's The Black Pearl joined Bern's on the list of top 100 romantic restaurants.

Michelin Star-earning Lilac, located in the Tampa EDITION, got a shout-out on the top 100 hotel restaurants.
