Catch Temple Pastries' summer ice cream window in Seattle

Only a few weeks remain to snag ice cream from Temple Pastries' summer walk-up window, which offers some creative twists on classic favorites.

The shop — which literally calls itself The Window — is serving up frozen treats through Labor Day.

What to expect: I'm a fan of the strawberry cheesecake ice cream sandwich ($10), which includes a mini cheesecake in the center.

• But I'd never say no to the Camp Fire Classic, a frozen s'more-type sandwich, or their sour cherry ice cream taco.
• Their soft serve — like the above twist of toasted rice ice cream and mango sorbet — always hits the spot, too.
